About the Race

Andes Pacífico is a four-day enduro stage race that crosses Chile from the high Andes to the Pacific Ocean, linking centuries-old pack-mule routes shaped by Inca paths and Andean cowboys. Riders tackle untimed liaisons and timed special stages that showcase why Chile is among the world’s premier MTB destinations. For eight years, it’s been the top choice for riders worldwide to discover Chile’s most spectacular trails and compete shoulder-to-shoulder with Enduro World Cup athletes. Recent editions have earned strong reviews and now include an E-Bike category. In 2026, the route will cross the Ñuble Region, starting in Valle Las Trancas and finishing on the beach at Cobquecura. The ninth edition runs January 13–18, 2026 (with four days of racing).

Competition Regulations

Concept

The competition starts above the 2500 meters and is crossing westward over ten valleys of different geographies, landscapes and vegetation to reach the Pacific Ocean after 4 days which have fallen nearly 8,000 vertical meters.

During these four days the riders will be challenged by very technical trails and physical difficulty, for isolated geographies where the good state of mind is one of the most needed to finish this competition.

Format

The competition is based on the sum of the times of each racer’s (no teams) special stage. Ther will from 2 to 5 SS per day. The liaisons are not timed, but there is a deadline for the last stage of the day.

Riders can manage their time to complete the liaisons or transfers. The organization will close the stage at a certain time, which will be communicated in advance. This track closure is based on the safety of the participants.

The times are registered through our Sportident Chip system, for which each competitor has a personal and non-transferable Chip that is delivered each morning before departing the competition.
